Handloom Gadwal Silk Saree

Color & Fabric: The body of the saree is a beautiful Dual-Tone Rust and Deep Magenta. It has a “shot silk” effect, where two different colored threads (warp and weft) are woven together, causing the color to shift slightly in different lighting. The fabric is a fine, lightweight silk that offers a crisp and elegant drape.

Motifs (Buttas): The body is decorated with large, ornate Peacock (Mayil) Buttas woven in gold zari. The peacock is a traditional symbol of beauty and royalty, often featured in South Indian handlooms.

The Border: This is a classic Contrast Zari Border in a muted gold or “antique gold” finish. The weaving is intricate, featuring traditional floral patterns and circular medallions (Chakras) that give the saree a vintage, regal look.
